A Muppet in California

I read today that a driver in California was stopped and given a ticket because she was wearing Google glasses. (I'm struggling here with how GoogleGlass - the proper brand name - should best be described. Should it be 'GoogleGlasses' perhaps?). Anyway, there she was driving along wearing her GoogleGlasses but she hadn't turned them (should I say "it"?) on!  So why wear them if you're not going to turn them on?
